I was involved in the project “Development of UWB SOC and Demo Test-Bed,” Supported by 863 High-Tech Program, MOST of China, No.2007AA01Z2B2. This national big project developed China’s first IR-UWB network and low-power UWB SOC chip (less than 70mW). My contribution to this project is to develop the digital signal processing (DSP) platform to sample the RF signal and support upper MAC layer protocol. It is my first independent work featured with two parallel FPGA and GHz fixed-point DSP.
